Gorilla Head & Guppy
The tile to your left is a supposed to be a gorilla head. Quickly you can see that there some weaknesses on this tile. First off the gorilla does not resemble a real gorilla head it looks more like a cartoon gorilla. Another thing the gorilla has no hears. Strengths for the tile is that the face is actually dug in to the tile that also goes for the eyes, mouth, and the nostrils.
The tile on the right is a guppy (I don't remember what the origin was) going through some seaweed. Weaknesses are that the fish is kind of hard to see it could have been more highlighted on the tile. Some strengths are the seaweed i feel like it goes with the fish and its swimming through it and if the fish was more visible you could see that there is a pattern on the fish. I tried to make the scaling on the fish accurate as possible i feel like i did a pretty good job on it.

The artwork effectively addresses the assignment's requirements because it shows animal head tiles. The most successful part of the work is the intent, which was to make a cartoony gorilla head, very creative. It shows manipulation of tools because the lines are made with tools. It can be improved by adding more detail to the head and creating depth. Overall a good job and a very creative idea.
